My Writing
I write to explore my identity and what it means to be human. My work blends literary fiction, surrealism, philosophy, and psychological realism to examine memory, identity, trauma, faith, time, nature, and hope. I mainly dapple in fiction, but I also love writing academic papers in philosophy, history, and English.

Why I Write
My Writing Philosophy
I am interested in writing that does not simplify uncertainty. I want stories and poems to hold contradiction: beauty and fear, tenderness and violence, fantasy and reality, control and freedom.
My writing often begins with an image, emotion, question, or contradiction. From there, I build worlds that allow those ideas to transform.
